BRUSH FIRE IN ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP

About four acres of land were destroyed following a brush fire in Rostraver Township yesterday. Emergency officials say the blaze began at Salem Church Road and Weddell Drive but they have not determined exactly how it started. The flames spread to a truck that was parked in a field before firefighters were able to put them out. No injuries were reported. Burn bans are back in place in Unity and Derry townships due to the dry conditions there as well.
