LATROBE WILDCATS FOOTBALL TEAM LOOKING FOR SUPPORT IN T-MOBILE SCHOOL SPIRIT CONTEST

The Latrobe Football team is looking for support as they go for a school spirit contest from T-Mobile. The Trib reports that they made it out of the first round of the T-Mobile 5g Friday Night Lights contest and is one of 300 schools across the nation that will receive a $5000 grant. If they make it to the semi-finals, they will win $25,000 and an overall winner will get a multi-million-dollar prize. Winners will be announced October 10th. Prize money is aimed at renovations to stadiums, such as turf or grass installation, scoreboards, lights, weight room updates or otherwise, but the winnings can be used for other upgrades in a district.
