WESTMORELAND CROQUET CLUB TOURNAMENT

It was the end of an era on Sunday for the annual Westmoreland Croquet Club Tournament. The Trib reports that the 34th annual edition of the event brought about 2,000 out for the event, which benefits several organizations, with the funds handled by the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County. Event organizers say it’s just time for them to step aside. There is talk of others taking over, but nothing is official yet. The winner of this year’s tourney was David Cook III.
