SAINT VINCENT RESEARCHER ASKING RESIDENTS TO HELP COLLECT SPOTTED LANTERNFLIES

A researcher at Saint Vincent College is asking Western Pennsylvania residents to help her collect spotted lanternflies.  Associate biology professor Doctor Michelle Duennes is studying the insects in an effort to track their response to spreading through a new environment.  Doctor Duennes and other scientists want to log information about the bugs that could help stop them and possibly future invasive species.  Duennes is asking individuals who would like to participate to visit her website and fill out an application to get a spotted lanternfly collection kit.
