A report released late last night claims that Arnold Police Chief Josh Stanga is planning to surrender to authorities today. KDKA-TV cites anonymous sources who say Stanga is being brought up on criminal charges that are related to theft. The chief was placed on administrative leave back on August 16th and Arnold Mayor Shannon Santucci confirmed that the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and state police were conducting an investigation. Stagna was selected to replace Chief Eric Doutt in February. He has held previous law enforcement jobs in Allegheny, Armstrong, and Beaver counties.
