TWO NORTH HUNTINGDON ATHLETES RANKED INTERNATIONALLY AT JUNIOR WORLD KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Two North Huntingdon athletes have ranked internationally at the Junior World Kickboxing Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The Trib reports that 15-year-old Xander Geddy and 14-year-old Gabby Viola became the first two from Pennsylvania to receive medals at the event. Gabby Viola earned a bronze medal in point sparring at the Hungary tournament in late August, while Teammate Eddy received a bronze in team sparring and a silver in point sparring. The two train at Allegheny Shotokan Viola Karate in North Huntingdon.
