Arnold Police Chief Joshua Stanga will not be paid while sidelined and confronting charges of theft. Stanga was placed on leave August 16th with investigators saying that he had failed a professional integrity test. Investigators say that three-hundred dollars in cash was placed along with phony OxyContin pills in an abandoned vehicle in Arnold and that Stanga responded to the scene. They say that most of the cash was taken and that, in his official report, Stanga stated that he only found the pills and 35-dollars. Arnold’s mayor on Friday announced that, with the unanimous vote of city council, Stanga’s leave will be unpaid.
