A Hempfield man accused of hiring someone to kill his sister last April will not have his $250,000 bond reduced. The Trib reports that the request made by 64-year-old Peter J. Cute was rejected by County Judge Scott Mears. He said that the charge of solicitation to commit homicide was too severe to change the bond. Cute is accused of being on a video in the Eat ‘n Park in New Stanton, having a kill-for-hire conversation with an undercover police officer from North Huntingdon.
