Westmoreland County Commissioners said that voters who make mistakes on mail-in ballots will not be able to correct them to prevent their ballot from being disqualified. The Trib reports that Ballot Curing will not be offered or put in place before the election on November 5th. A court ruling issued this week required Washington County to notify mail-in voters of potential ballot errors prior to Election Day and could impact all 67 Pennsylvania counties. But as of Wednesday, Westmoreland officials said the county will continue its hands-off approach with mail-in ballots. Republican Commissioner Doug Chew said the process would be a burden for the county, but Democratic Commissioner Ted Kopas said it will make sure every vote is counted.
