A hearing scheduled for this week for embattled Arnold police chief Joshua Stanga has been delayed. Stanga is facing five misdemeanor charges after reportedly failing a professional integrity test back in August. Investigators say that three-hundred dollars in cash was placed along with phony OxyContin pills in an abandoned vehicle in Arnold and that Stanga responded to the scene. They say that most of the cash was taken and that, in his official report, Stanga stated that he only found the pills and a fraction of the money. The postponement of this week’s hearing follows the recusal of the judge who had been presiding over the matter and things will now be handled by a Washington Township district judge.
