CONSERVATIVE ORGANIZATION DENIED USAGE OF NORWIN HIGH SCHOOL

A conservative organization will not be allowed to use the Norwin High School to hold an event.  The Trib reports that Turning Point USA wanted to have a speech at the Norwin High School Auditorium on October 24th.  District administration said on Monday that it denied the request based on violent student protests at a lecture by the organization’s president last year.  The district did say it gave preliminary permission for the program to be held after an early dismissal for students, but final approval was not granted.
