State Police from Greensburg have charged four people with obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct happening at the Blackburn Center for domestic violence. Troopers accused center director Renee Reitz of Jeannette and staffers Eleonora Marsili of Greensburg, Adrean Orsini of Latrobe and Maria Robinson of Blairsville in connection with an investigation into the welfare of a four-year-old child and numerous allegations of child abuse since August of this year. On October 1st, Troopers received an emergency child custody order to transfer the 4-year-old to CYS custody immediately due to safety concerns, and it was discovered the child was with her mother at the Blackburn Center. After obtaining a search warrant, troopers arrived at the center, but the staff refused to cooperate with state police. Troopers had to resort to forcible entry into the building to carry out the search warrant and take emergency protective custody of the child.
