A man tried to flee police by jumping out of the window of a third-floor apartment on Wednesday. The Trib reports that 27-year-old Sean Barr of New Kensington is charged with drug and weapon-related crimes for the incident at the Valley Royal Court apartments. While officers were forcing open the door after knocks went unanswered, officers outside said they saw a man trying to get out through the window on the third floor, according to a criminal complaint. Police found four bundles of fentanyl, a bag with 25 grams of cocaine and 20 grams of crystal meth inside a toilet tank. Also found were a .22-caliber Taurus pistol, ammunition and two digital scales. He was arraigned Thursday and placed in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
