NO HORSES HURT IN FIRE

No horses were hurt in a fire at the Westmoreland Equestrian Center in Hempfield Saturday afternoon.  The Trib reports that significant damage was reported in a storage barn in the facility.  The fire briefly closed a section of Business Route 66 in Hempfield, a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher said. The roadway had reopened to traffic by 5 p.m.  State police fire marshals are investigating the cause.
