PEDESTRIAN DEAD IN MONROEVILLE

A male pedestrian is dead after having been hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Monroeville.  The accident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on William Penn Highway.  The victim, identified as 48-year-old Thomas Tate, was found at the scene in critical condition and later died at a local hospital.
