NORWIN SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT HIRED AS ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT AT PLUM

The Norwin School Board president has been hired as an assistant superintendent at Plum School District.  The Trib reports that Matthew Thomas of North Huntingdon says he wants to continue as both the assistant superintendent and as a school board member, but it will depend on the new job.  At Plum, Thomas said his focus will be wide-ranging and include curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional development, special education and human resources.
