State police say a man who forced his way into a Sewickley Township home and set several fires outside of it was taken into custody Thursday night. The Trib reports that 33-year-old Kurtis Baker is also accused of dousing his neighbor, two houses and four vehicles with hydraulic fluid. Troopers were called to Yukon Road at 11 p.m to investigate. When they detained Baker, authorities say he alleged he had an explosive device, however no explosives were found. Police did state Baker had a lighter in his pants pocket. He was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for October 28th.
