PennDOT, State Police and Greensburg police have announced a joint effort to help make sure drivers are obeying traffic laws concerning school buses. The Trib reports that Greensburg officers will sit at bus stops and follow some bus routes as part of an aggressive driving campaign that will run through November 10th. The enforcement focuses on school bus safety, the Move Over Law, speeding and tailgating, said PennDOT District 12 safety press officer Emily Swecker. One announced area of focus will be the area of East Pittsburgh Street near the YMCA, where a bus takes kids to and from Amos K. Hutchinson Elementary School.
