WESTMORELAND COUNTY RETIREMENT BOARD IS PROMISING COST-OF-LIVING INCREASES

Westmoreland County’s retirement board is promising cost-of-living increases.   Retired county government workers this year in the county received no increase due to what was considered to be a tight budget.  A three-point-four-percent increase has been approved for 2025.  The decision impacts about 14-hundred individuals.
