No serious injuries were reported in a crash involving a school bus and two pickup trucks yesterday in Allegheny Township. The Trib reports that the crash happened at 8:30 yesterday morning at the intersection of Route 56 and Hyde Park Road. The bus had been taking 20 kindergarten to fourth grade students to North Primary School. Officials said the school bus, traveling north on Hyde Park Road, had a green light when it went through the intersection and was struck by a pickup that later caught fire. The bus continued forward and hit a second pickup that had been sitting at a red light. Some students went home while others continued to school, and school resource officers will ride with students today.
