FORMER PLUM BOROUGH BUILDING GETTING TORN DOWN

The former borough building in Plum is being torn down.  Massarelli Excavating and Demolition is working on the project along New Texas Road.  They are taking down the former public works and emergency medical services buildings at the site as well.  Borough offices were moved into the new municipal center on Mike Thomas Way roughly two years ago.  Local officials hope to redevelop the eight-acre property.
