North Huntingdon officials have approved a new contract with the municipality’s police officers. The Trib reports that the three-year agreement goes into effect at the start of 2025 and will offer a 5% raise in salary that year, with 4% raises in 2026 and 2027. The new contract with the North Huntingdon Police Fraternal Relief Association covers 29 officers in the department. There are no changes to the work schedule for the officers. Junior officers receive 90% of the pay of a senior officer and will receive that senior officer pay after four years of service.
