One person died in a crash on Thursday in Washington Township. Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson said 48-year-old Christopher Negley was involved in a crash at 10:50 yesterday morning when his Chevy Equinox crossed the center line on Route 66 and hit a Tractor-trailer truck. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. His death was ruled accidental due to blunt force trauma. Washington Township Police assisted in the investigation.
