DERRY TOWNSHIP BRIDGE TO BE REPAIRED NEXT YEAR

A bridge in the Torrance area of Derry Township has been rated as poor and is scheduled for repairs next year.  The Trib reports that the bridge in question carries Torrance Road over McGee Run.  Plans are nearing completion and bids for the project will be sought in December.  The bridge was originally built in 1952 The project will include making repairs to the deck and placing a new asphalt overlay.  Construction will take place next spring or summer.
