TESTIMONY BEGINS FOR BELLE VERNON MAN

Testimony started yesterday for the trial of a Belle Vernon man who is accused of shooting and killing a woman in Rostraver on January 1st, 2022.  The Trib reports that 29-year-old Anthony Harriston is charged with homicide, possession with intent to deliver and other crimes connected with the killing of 59-year-old Holly Vadella, who was headed home after ringing in 2022 with her mother.  A Rostraver police officer who discovered Vadella’s body and car testified yesterday.  Testimony is expected to continue today.
