LOWER BURRELL MURDER CASE REMAINS ON HOLD

The case against a man charged with killing a Lower Burrell remains on hold.  Nathan Salem is charged with criminal homicide in the December 2023 fatal shooting of Mogie’s Irish Pub owner David Magill.  Salem was found incompetent to stand trial earlier this year and was sent to a state hospital for treatment.  This week, the judge ruled that Magill remains unable to assist in his own defense and the defendant has been ordered to continue treatment.
