STORMS CAUSE POWER OUTAGES

Powerful rain and windstorms hit the area causing several power outages.  West Penn Power reports that 849 Customers in Westmoreland County are without power at this time.  Most of the customers affected are in Salem, North Huntingdon and Hempfield Townships.  No word yet on when power will be restored.  Crews are working as quickly as they can to make those restorations.
