LATROBE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY SAYS WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK

Latrobe Municipal Authority officials say that the water is still safe to drink.  Yesterday, we said that drought conditions had caused some discoloration in the water, but pH levels remained safe.  According to an automated phone message to authority customers, they are considering flushing the water lines to help address the discoloration.  Also, there is no need to boil water at this point.
