A New Kensington woman was charged with hitting another woman with her SUV in a Giant Eagle parking lot on Monday. The Trib reports that 29-year-old Tyonna Kirk faces aggravated assault, aggravated assault by vehicle and other crimes for the incident at the Tarentum Bridge Road store. At 5:00 PM, police found an older woman lying on the ground with bystanders helping her. The victim said Kirk was upset with her and started to curse at her. When the victim tried to film her, she allegedly hit the victim with the passenger side mirror and sped off. Kirk is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail with a preliminary hearing set for December 5th.
