SINKHOLE SEARCH FOR MISSING WESTMORELAND COUNTY WOMAN

State police said a missing woman in Westmoreland County may have fallen into a 30-foot sinkhole. Police were searching Tuesday morning in the area of Marguerite Road in Unity Township. Police said Pollard may have fallen into the hole, and her 5-year-old granddaughter was found in a car nearby. Pollard was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday, and police were called on Tuesday morning. About 100 people were helping with the search and rescue.
