BOLIVAR MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO ARSON AND INSURANCE FRAUD CHARGES

A Boilivar man pleaded guilty to charges of arson and insurance fraud. The Trib reports that 60-year-old Jerry Allen Boring will serve one-to-two years in prison and an additional year of parole for setting fire to a pickup truck with Allen Palmer of Fairfield and collecting $4900 in insurance on the vehicle. Palmer is awaiting disposition of his charges. Boring is already serving a 20-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a child.
