A man convicted of stalking is back behind bars after he showed up at the victim’s home one day after his sentencing hearing. The Trib reports that 43-year-old Anthony Carpenter was seen back at the home of the lead singer of the band Flyleaf at 9:45 PM on Tuesday. Municipal police said they caught up with the truck in which Carpenter was a passenger and took him into custody. He is charged with stalking, harassment and defiant trespass. This came one day after he was sentenced for similar charges. He was sentenced to serve up to 23 months in jail, but was immediately paroled and ordered to serve a year of probation and return to his hometown in Ohio.
