GREENSBURG MAN ORDERED TO SERVE JAIL TIME

A Greensburg man was ordered to serve time in jail after he pleaded guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted two young girls two decades earlier.  The Trib reports that 66-year-old Morton Thompson, Jr. was charged in December of 2022 of sexually assaulting two girls when the victims were six and seven years of age.  Thompson pleaded guilty to charges in both cases.  He was sentenced to a day less than one year to a day less than two years in jail.
