North Huntingdon officials have approved a plan to dredge and clean Indian Lake Park. The Trib reports that the contract was awarded to KU Resources at a cost of $18,500 to conduct a survey of the underwater depth of the lake, plans for dredging, permitting to conduct the project, and prepare documents for contractors to submit bids to do the dredge work. The dredging project could cost millions of dollars to remove the buildup of silt in the lake.
