WOMAN HIT BY CAR IN HARRISON

A woman was taken to a nearby hospital after she was hit by a car in Harrison.  The Trib reports that the un-named victim was hit at the intersection of Freeport Road and California Avenue around 4:35 PM on Monday.  The driver who hit the woman Monday stayed at the scene and flagged down a passing police officer. Police say he was not hurt.  Police are still investigating and reviewing video footage from the scene.
