PRICE HIKE FOR EAST DEER TRASH SERVICE

Residents in East Deer are seeing a sizable price hike for their trash service as the new year gets underway.  Rates in the township are going up by about 35 percent.  That’s a hike of five dollars and 50 cents each month, bumping the monthly bill up to 21 dollars.  There is some good news for residents, however, as property tax rates in the township remain flat again this year.
