JAY LENO DENIES INJURY RUMORS

Jay Leno is denying rumors concerning injuries that he suffered just before his show in Greensburg.  As we previously reported, Leno fell down a hill while walking from a restaurant to his hotel.  Despite the injuries he suffered, he still went back to The Palace to perform his full standup set.  The Trib reports that with the injuries he suffered in that fall, rumors circulated about how he got those injuries.  He was even asked about it on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, where Maher said that rumors came up that he was beaten up by the mob over unpaid gambling debts.  Leno replied that it would be funny that the Mob would head out to Greensburg, “wait outside the Hampton Inn in a kind of sleety, rainy day to throw me down a hill.”
