A man suing the Ligonier Valley Police department and has approved litigation against the commission that oversees the force is now serving on the commission. The Trib reports that Ligonier Township Supervisors chairman Erik Ross has taken over for Stephanie Verna as the supervisors representative on the board. He had filed a civil suit in October against the police department and three officers, saying they misused the criminal justice system to discredit his actions and tarnish his reputation. He said that he would not vote on or take part in any discussion concerning his lawsuit.
