GOVERNOR SHAPIRO VISITS PA FARM SHOW

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro discussed the state’s agricultural industry while visiting the PA Farm Show earlier this week.  Shapiro said agriculture brings billions into the state’s economy, and lawmakers want to ensure Pennsylvania farmers have all the resources they need.  The governor also discussed the ongoing bird flu outbreak, which could be potentially devastating to flocks of poultry.  Shapiro said there is a 60-million-dollar fund to assist farmers that see their flocks wiped out due to the virus.
