The former leader of the Westmoreland County Housing Authority was honored last Friday. The Trib reports that 86-year-old Dan Wukich joined the board about 25 years ago, saying he had a goal to reform the agency that he said was “being run as a sole proprietorship to a collaborative effort that sought out new ideas and concepts”. Wukich was given a plaque for his years of service. His replacement will be former State Senator Bob Regola.
