GREENSBURG WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY BUT MENTALLY ILL

A Greensburg woman has pleaded guilty but mentally ill to charges connected with the attempted killing of her 8-year-old child.  The Trib reports 32-year-old Skye Naggy entered the plea Tuesday to six offenses connected with the incident on October 25th, 2022.  Police said she kidnapped her child, drove them to a secluded wooded area at Loyalhanna Lake and tried to kill the child with a lethal injection of fentanyl and opiates.  She faces a potential prison sentence, and the court will decide if she needs treatment in the correction system before she starts serving the sentence.
