Animal cruelty charges are being filed against a Greensburg man first confronted by police inside a local bar. Officers were dispatched to the business on January 17th after someone reported the suspect had his dog with him inside the bar and that the canine had an obvious, visible infection. Fifty-six-year-old suspect Bryan Thompson reportedly told police multiple stories about the dog and after failing to produce proof of treatment within 24 hours as ordered, the dog was seized and Thompson was arrested. The dog was later found to have multiple punctures and a severe infection but is now receiving treatment.
