FLOOD WATCH IN WESTMORELAND COUNTY

While the warm weather is nice after the recent cold snap, it also brings with it its own weather problems.  The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Westmoreland County through 1:00 PM Saturday.  The rain that is expected to hit the area along with melting snow and ice jams could cause some localized flooding along rivers.  People are advised to continue to monitor weather forecasts for possible flood warnings and those living in flood prone areas should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.  We’ll have a check of your AccuWeather forecast in a few minutes.
