Initial filings for unemployment are declining slightly across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending May 17th, there were over ten-thousand-400 initial filings for unemployment in the state. That number is slightly lower than the week prior. Nationally, the number of initial filings decreased compared to the week prior.
