JEANNETTE WOMAN KILLED IN FIRE

Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson has identified the woman who was killed in a fire on Wednesday in Jeannette.  The Trib reports that 67-year-old Elizabeth Liptak perished in the fire at 812 Scott Avenue that was reported at 5:00 PM.  Officials said that a fire sparked on the kitchen stove and spread to a pile of debris and other belongings that was stacked throughout her home.  Fire crews could only access the home due to the hoarding conditions present, saying the home was packed and filled with garbage.  The death was ruled accidental.
