FEDERAL JUDGE THROWS OUT LAWSUIT AGAINST NORWIN SCHOOL DISTRICT AND FORMER SUPERINTENDENT

A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit against the Norwin School district and its former superintendent.  The Trib reports that board member Alex Detschelt filed the complaint after he was censured by the board for a social media post in 2022 that targeted then-Lieutennant Governor John Fetterman that used a derisive term for someone with a mental illness.  The federal judge did give Detschelt gave the right to file an amended complaint by June 20th and Detschelt said he will take advantage of that opportunity.
