GREENSBURG MAN ORDERED TO SERVE JAIL TIME

A Greensburg man was ordered on Friday to serve 12 to 24 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a three-year-old boy.  The Trib reports 48-year-old James Swanson was convicted in March of rape and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse for incidents in 2019 and 2020.  Testimony included video recorded by the victim’s mother of him describing and demonstrating the sexual abuse acts.  On top of the jail time, Swanson will serve three years of probation and must register as a Meghan’s law offender for the rest of his life.
