A Latrobe woman’s caretaker was arrested on Monday accused of assaulting another woman. The Trib reports that 48-year-old Nicole Crusan allegedly mistreated a 71-year-old stroke victim by pulling her hair to lift her out of a wheelchair then dropping her on the floor. The victim said she was arguing with Crusan when she was pulled from the wheelchair and dragged around the residence. The woman told police Crusan, who was working for CareSphere of Bethlehem, had been taking care of her for seven months. A spokesperson for the home care company declined to comment. Crusan is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond, pending a preliminary hearing on June 16th.
