NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT COMING TO LOWER BURRELL PARK

New playground equipment is coming to a park in Lower Burrell’s Braeburn Neighborhood.  The Trib reports that city officials recently signed a contract with Sports and Recreation Associates for $56,700 to install new playground equipment at Braeview park.  The equipment that was there was removed last fall as it was deemed dangerous due to rusty edges, trip hazards and other reasons.  Renderings indicate the new equipment will have a swing set, slides, climbing walls and ladders.
