CITY OF GREENSBURG DID NOT BREAK BUBBLE-GUM BLOWING RECORD

An attempt by the City of Greensburg to break a world record did not succeed on Saturday.  The Trib reports that the city’s attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people blowing a bubble-gum bubble at one time fell short.  The record is 881 people, but only about 250-300 people showed up.  Organizers said that a variety of events, including the No Kings Rally a block away, probably drew people away from the event.  Organizers say they will try again at a future date.
